CelebnMusic247.com wants to welcome back aboard Below Deck Mediterranean, where apparently the Mediterranean Sea isn’t big enough to contain all this drama.
Season 11, Episode 14 brings us a new deckhand, a visit from the police, a $26,000 tip, secret romances, jealousy, emotional moments and — because this crew simply cannot help themselves — even more fighting.
Last week, Max dramatically left the yacht on what felt like a full-blown James Bond rescue mission to help his father, while the feud between Nathan Gallagher and Joe Bradley reached another boiling point.
Captain Sandy tried to calm things down, but peace aboard Akira One apparently has a very short expiration date.
Nathan already issued the warning: if the new deckhand has his back, Joe is in trouble.
Well, meet Massi.
And something tells us this isn’t going to make Joe’s week any easier.
Meet Massi: Espresso, Cigarettes and Absolutely No Responsibility
Joe and Cooper wait on the swim platform for their newest crew member, and naturally, Cooper wastes approximately zero seconds spilling the latest gossip.
He tells Joe that Nathan has been fishing for information.
Joe already believes Nathan has divided the deck team, and he predicts exactly what might happen next: Nathan will buddy up with the new guy and flaunt their friendship right in Joe’s face.
And wouldn’t you know it?
Nathan picks up Massi in the tender.
The Italian yachtie arrives with one of the best introductions of the season, joking that instead of blood running through his veins, he’s powered by “espresso, cigarettes, and stress.”
Honestly, welcome to reality television, Massi. You’ll fit right in.
He’s certainly not a rookie either.
Massi has approximately 10 years of yachting experience, including time working as both a bosun and captain.
There’s just one little catch.
After all those years of responsibility, Massi wants exactly zero responsibility this season.
Respect.
Massi even lights a cigarette during his first confessional before a producer quickly tells him to put it out.
We’re barely getting started, and he’s already giving us entertainment.
Gen Has Her Eye on Massi — But Massi Notices Joy
Once aboard, Massi meets the crew and charter guests.
Gen isn’t exactly blown away.
He’s “not what I was hoping for,” she says.
But Gen might want to save herself the trouble because Massi appears much more interested in Joy anyway.
And wouldn’t you know it? Joy already has someone else thinking about her.
Luke sends her another sweet message.
Joy’s love life might be happening primarily through her phone this season, but somehow it’s still creating drama aboard the yacht.
Meanwhile, there’s another romance happening much closer to home.
Cooper and Kat are secretly dating.
Well… “secretly” might be generous.
Kayley already knows something is going on, and Aesha is suspicious too.
Eventually, Cooper gives up trying to hide it and tells Aesha the truth.
Aesha understands why they’re keeping things quiet, but based on her experience with boatmances, she’s skeptical.
Her assessment?
This usually “doesn’t work.”
Oh, Aesha.
Have faith.
Actually, never mind. She’s probably right.
Nathan Starts His Massi Campaign — Right in Front of Joe
Nathan wastes no time praising Massi.
Repeatedly.
And conveniently within Joe’s hearing range.
Joe sees exactly what Nathan is doing and is already over it.
The tension between these two has reached the point where someone could probably compliment the weather and somehow turn it into an argument.
But finally, we get some genuinely good news.
Captain Sandy’s phone goes off.
It’s Max!
He sends the crew a video from Tunisia showing himself driving through a safari with his father safely sitting beside him.
Mission accomplished.
“Only Max,” Joe laughs.
After the dramatic way Max left the yacht, seeing his father safe provides one of the episode’s most uplifting moments.
Gen’s Flirting Starts Causing Problems
Back aboard Akira One, another storm is developing — and this one has nothing to do with the weather.
Gen flirts with Cooper.
Then she actually tells Kat about it.
Kat doesn’t give Gen the reaction she apparently expects, prompting Gen to ask whether Kat is supposedly no longer interested in Cooper.
Kat simply responds, “Yeah.”
Sure, Kat.
Totally convincing.
Meanwhile, Nathan is texting Gael from the crew mess, telling her about Massi and admitting he hopes the new deckhand will put Joe “in his place.”
So much for Captain Sandy’s peace talks.
Kat Finally Gets Fed Up With Gen
Dinner service goes beautifully, and the charter guests love the food and crew.
Joy continues being, well, Joy.
But downstairs, Kat is becoming increasingly frustrated with Gen.
Gen’s wrist is still hurting, but she refuses to wear her supportive wrap because she finds it too bulky.
Without it, however, she says she can’t vacuum.
Guess who gets stuck doing it?
Kat.
Add that to Gen flirting with Cooper and repeatedly making negative comments about Kayley, and Kat finally reaches a conclusion she’s been working toward for a while:
Gen isn’t being a good teammate.
And unfortunately, their problems are only beginning.
Kayley Faces an Emotional Anniversary
The episode then slows down for one of its most heartfelt moments.
After the charter guests enjoy a dance party with a hired DJ and eventually head to bed, Kayley texts her mother.
The following day marks the anniversary of the death of her brother, Ewan.
She calls her sister, who promises to contact Kayley when the family gathers to remember him.
Being halfway around the world while your family is experiencing such an emotional anniversary can’t be easy, and Kayley’s vulnerability brings a very different kind of reality to an otherwise chaotic episode.
But before anyone aboard can get too comfortable…
Here come the police.
Police Arrive at Akira One
Suddenly, sirens can be heard.
Officers arrive at the yacht after receiving complaints about the earlier music.
Apparently, the party continued beyond the permitted late-night hours, and the yacht could potentially face a penalty.
One officer even tells the production crew to put down the camera.
Massi gets the unenviable job of waking Captain Sandy.
Naturally, even this guy manages to make the situation funny, joking during his confessional:
“Can I mime a cigarette?”
Captain Sandy speaks with the officers, and thankfully, the situation doesn’t escalate.
The crew gets away with a warning.
Crisis avoided.
For approximately five minutes, anyway.
A $26,000 Tip Gives Everyone Something to Smile About
The following morning, the charter guests leave happy.
And they show just how happy they were with an impressive $26,000 tip.
Now that’s something the entire crew can agree on.
But the money isn’t the most meaningful moment of the morning.
Joe knows Kayley is struggling with the anniversary of Ewan’s death, so he arranges something special.
He orders flowers and, when midnight arrives in Sydney, brings Kayley to the sun deck for a glass of wine and some much-needed emotional support.
Joe raises his glass.
“This is to Ewan.”
Kayley breaks down as viewers see touching flashbacks of her with her brother.
Whatever anyone thinks about Joe’s behavior elsewhere this season, this was an incredibly thoughtful gesture.
For a moment, the petty yacht drama disappears and we’re reminded these crew members have real lives, families and losses waiting for them beyond the boat.
And Then Gen Turns the Flirting Up to 100
Don’t worry.
The peace doesn’t last.
Gen overhears Kat and Kayley bonding, which leaves her feeling excluded.
She turns to Cooper for a hug and continues flirting with him as everyone heads out for dinner.
Then things get uncomfortable.
At dinner, Gen makes an extremely explicit nickname out of Cooper’s name — right in front of Kat.
Kat is stunned.
Joy is stunned.
We’re pretty sure half the Mediterranean is stunned.
Even Joy calls Gen out during her confessional.
Gen eventually heads to the bathroom, while an upset Kat starts crying because Cooper isn’t doing enough to shut down the flirting.
And suddenly, that “secret” boatmance isn’t looking particularly fun anymore.
Aesha warned them.
Aesha Becomes a Muppet, Joe Humps the Ceiling and Massi Questions His Life Choices
Then we get the kind of Below Deck nightlife chaos we’ve come to expect.
Aesha hits the dance floor with moves that can only be described as gloriously Muppet-like.
Joe somehow ends up climbing into the rafters and… getting extremely friendly with the ceiling.
And Massi?
Massi simply watches.
His expression is somewhere between amused, horrified and “What yacht did I just join?”
Welcome aboard, buddy.
You’ve seen nothing yet.
Nathan eventually heads home to Gael and appears to vent about Joe.
“I’m sick of him,” Nathan says.
At this point, we get it.
You guys don’t like each other.
Nathan Gives Joe the Shift From Hell
Joe and Kayley spend the night together, while Nathan eventually returns to the yacht.
But the Joe-versus-Nathan Cold War continues.
Nathan doesn’t even want to interact with Joe anymore, so he assigns him a six-hour overnight shift.
Joe is not amused.
The deck team is officially fractured, and Massi’s arrival hasn’t magically fixed anything.
If anything, there’s now another person standing in the middle of the mess.
Kat Finally Confronts Gen
Meanwhile, things aren’t any better with the interior crew.
Gen can tell something is wrong and asks Kat what’s bothering her.
Kat finally lets her feelings out.
After watching Gen flirt with Cooper and feeling like her supposed boyfriend hasn’t established clear enough boundaries, Kat has reached her limit.
But there’s little time to resolve anything because another group of charter guests is coming aboard.
This time it’s an all-female group — accompanied by a blow-up doll standing in for a guest who had to cancel.
Because, obviously.
Joy Gets Another Surprise — and Gen Is DONE
Just before the new guests arrive, a delivery appears for Joy.
It’s from a secret admirer.
Except the identity isn’t particularly secret.
It’s Luke.
Joy knows it.
Everyone else seems to know it.
And almost everybody finds the situation hilarious.
Everybody except Gen.
Watching Joy receive yet another romantic gesture appears to be the final straw.
Gen sums up her mood perfectly:
“F*ck this charter season. I want to go home, bro.”
And there it is.
After police, flirting, jealousy, grief, romance, arguments and one very confused new Italian deckhand, Below Deck Mediterranean somehow manages to leave us with even more drama heading into the next charter.

Episode 14 had a little bit of everything that makes Below Deck Mediterranean such addictive reality TV.
There was ridiculous comedy, real emotion and enough romantic confusion to sink a much smaller yacht.
But beneath all the chaos, Kayley and Joe’s tribute to Ewan was the moment that stood out most. It was simple, sincere and a reminder that some things are much bigger than yacht drama.
As for Massi?
The poor man arrived wanting “no responsibility” and walked straight into Joe vs. Nathan, Kat vs. Gen and enough boatmance drama for an entire reunion special.
Massi, keep that espresso coming.
You’re going to need it.
