Scott told us about so the disturbing truth behind the entity called ZoZo. During our conversation Di Lalla actually gave us chills telling us about the movie is taken from real life experiences from the early 90s and how some people are still possessed by ZoZo to this day.
Scott tells us how he has moved from documentary film making to horror and how he is going to further explore this film. What we liked about the film is that it keeps you guessing and makes you think. Scott keeps the film as real as possible and true to the real experience that happened after using an Ouija board.
I Am ZoZo is a psychological thriller about five young people who play with an Ouija board on Halloween and attract the attention of a malevolent demon. The film is based on real experiences with an ancient and malevolent spirit called ZoZo that attaches itself to people exclusively through Ouija boards. I Am ZoZo was shot last fall on location on San Juan Island, WA and Seattle entirely on Kodak Super 8mm negative film stock.
What is most interesting is what happened on set while filming. Scott Di Lalla tells us some chilling and creepy stories before and while filming the movie.
