Taylor Swift Sued For $1.8 Million Over Canceled Canada Show
According to reports, the “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” pop singer is being sued by concert promoters in Canada who organized the Capital Hoedown in August 2012, which Swift was scheduled to headline.
The concert apparently scrapped, so Swift never performed and kept her $2.5 million paycheck, according to TMZ.
Now Taylor is the fall girl and the organizers argue that Swift should foot the $1.8 million bill for ticket refunds. However, CNM247 has learned from a source at Taylor Swift’s camp that she didn’t make a deal with the ticket company, and she has no responsibility to get involved with the ticket refunds.
