CelebNMusic247.com was there to cover the badass BFD ALL DAY event that featured The Offspring, Fitz and the Tantrums, Silversun Pickups, The Naked and Famous, BØRNS, Jake Bugg, The Story So Far and more that kicked off from 11am to 11pm.

In case you missed English musician, singer, and songwriter, Jake Bugg, who recently spoke on baring his soul with his most personal record yet. The 22-year-old singer said:

“I just want every record to be different from the last one, really.

“It’s what music’s about, just because something works before doesn’t mean you should carry on doing the same thing.”

Bugg added:

“I wanted to try something different and mess around with sounds and new ideas. Just trying s*** out really.”

Jake said to daily record:

“It was fun working with co-writers for the first couple of records but I just felt that for this one I needed to be on my own. It was important for my growth as a writer and an artist, so it was just something I felt I had to do.”

“I’ve done it now, so for the next record I might mix it up a little bit and bring in a few different people.”

Meanwhile, crowd favorite and Walnut Creek, California natives, punk quintet The Story So Far (vocalist Parker Cannon, guitarists Kevin Geyer and Wiiliam Levy, drummer Ryan Torf, and bassist Kelen Capener) killed it at BFD. The Story So Far is a fusion of energetic pop-punk and the wistfulness of classic emo acts.

Recently, The Story So Far released their video “Heavy Gloom” from their self titled album.
