Lyfe Jennings Defends Debate With David Banner

Ok so we are going to keep this short and sweet when it comes to the recent debate between Lyfe Jennings and David Banner.

David was extremely upset when articles started appearing about he and Lyfe getting into a heated argument. That is what it looked like if you were on the outside looking in. One thing about Lyfe and David is that they are both very intelligent men. The stand for what they believe in and sometimes its not a pretty situation.

They are both real to who they are, so this is why Lyfe went on record to explain to his followers what happened:

Jennings writes:

“Woke up to a lot of media and questions about last night discussions. I have nothing but respect for this man first of all. I think debate is necessary to find solutions…

…And despite disagreement this is my brother and I support his movement period. I could be wrong but I just don’t agree that these kids picking up guns is gonna solve anything. I think it’ll make it worse….”

Lyfe concluded by saying:

“Believe me I know…15yrs in prison I don’t think anybody up there has as much experience with the police as me… #blacklivesmatter”

Fox News reported the story with the title “Hundreds of DeKalb residents attend Strategy for Change discussion!”

The incident took place where hundreds of people showed up at the House of Hope church in Decatur for a town hall discussion on race.

Things where going smooth as Jeezy, one of the panelists at the Strategy for Change discussion had to keep the peace at one point while he also gave his opinion on police brutality.

Jeezy said:

“We’re getting a chance to really see what these people have been doing to our people since the beginning.”

Panelists shared a wide variety of opinions on improving conditions in the black community, following five nights of protests in Atlanta. Dr. Bernice King, daughter of Martin Luther King Jr. weighed in saying:

“We have got to find a way to get on one accord in our approach.”

Then 2 Chainz gave a ignorant opinion, since the he works with the “white man” (label) to get his music recorded and heard. So they funded him. Here is what 2 Chainz said:

“The white bank is not going to give us a loan. We need to open up more black banks.”

Here is why the non-violent broke Strategy for Change discussion took a wrong turn…

Things turned left when David Banner suggested police officers need to face financial or even physical consequences for bad behavior. It’s a very extreme point of view, but Banner has his own personal demons with white people, since he grew up around racism in Mississippi. In his early years he spoke on it, but it is deep rooted feels that are surfacing in anger. That is why Lyfe Jennings strongly disagreed, but luckily was there to check Banner’s way of thinking.

Meanwhile Tyrese ended up being the referree when tempers flared. shortly after the incident, Banner told Channel 2’s Matt Johnson:

“I’m tired and am glad that black people are fired up. They should be.”

Atlanta radio host Rickey Smiley hosted the event and said he hopes people who showed up will show up and vote.

Smiley said:

“We’re trying to get people excited about local elections.”

We hope so as well Rickey Smiley because none of us can afford to let Trump win, because people didn’t vote. America screwed up when Gore ran and we ended up with Bush # 2, and all he did was f–k up this country. Thankfully we had the Clinton’s and the Obama’s to clean up the Republican blunders!

Later David Banner took to Twitter saying:

This is why Hilary is the answer! She was America’s backbone before and she can do it again. Hilary Clinton is the right choice. She is for “We The People” Not “Me and some people (Rich White ONLY)” like Trump will do.
