Former White Stripes frontman and solo artist, Jack White is facing legal woes after his former wife is claiming that he threatened her in a court filing.
Now, Jack White is speaking out saying that there was no threats made during a court filing he and his estranged wife attended in response to her request for a temporary restraining order. Karen Elson is claiming in the legal documents that she fears for her safety and her children’s.

British singer and model Karen Elson was granted the temporary restraining order pending a hearing. She showed the court an email from the former White Stripes frontman that expresses unhappiness with Elson’s plans for their children’s schooling and takes a swipe at rock ‘n’ roll rival Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys.
In a court filing Friday, White denies his wife’s claims and says his wife went back on a verbal agreement to settle the divorce without mediation.
White has asked the court to establish a temporary parenting plan and said he does not oppose the temporary restraining order except for communications about the children.
British model and singer Karen Elson married White in 2005 in Nashville and they have two children. They separated in 2011 and Elson filed for divorce last year.
Elson filed for a temporary restraining order July 17. It was approved by a judge pending a court hearing on Aug. 29.
