Capitol Music Group DROPS FN Meka 2 Week After Signing!
Here is the problem with people using the N-Word…who should not be using the word at all. Especially when the rapper is a digital image (AI Rapper) of a black man who is run by a white guy.
In less than two weeks, Capitol Music Group announced that their latest signee, FN Meka, has been dropped from the label…
CelebnMusic247.com reports that due to major criticism Capitol Music Group decided to drop FN Meka’s use of the N-word and other black stereotypes.
The reason is that there are NO black members on the FN Meka’s team
According to Variety, the label released a statement Tuesday afternoon announcing the severance of ties with the rapper.
The label group said in a statement released Tuesday afternoon:
CMG has severed ties with the FN Meka project, effective immediately.
We offer our deepest apologies to the Black community for our insensitivity in signing this project without asking enough questions about equity and the creative process behind it. We thank those who have reached out to us with constructive feedback in the past couple of days — your input was invaluable as we came to the decision to end our association with the project.
Did they really think we would fall for another Milli Vanili?
And who would listen to a white guy using a digital image of himself as a black man? This is so f’d up and disgusting that someone at CMG thought this was the new next thing.
Thank you to whoever it was at Capitol who said, cancel his deal.
Shame on the music industry for trying to make money off of garbage. And to the white boy, be yourself fool, stop hiding behind a digital image of what you thing a rapper should be.
We agree with The Game on this BS:
