Jada Pinkett-Smith On Chris Rock: “These Streets Be Trippin”!
There has been a ton of coverage about Will Smith stepping up on stage and slapping the New York outta Chris Rock. Everyone in Hollywood has been getting their 15-minutes to speak on the incident, but no-one for one second realizes that Chris Rock was told prior to the Oscars to stop making fun of Jada Pinkett-Smith.
Not only that, Will was vocal to Denzel Washington and Tyler Perry that he has spoke to Chris Rock after the jokes made at the Oscars in 2017. You don’t hear Rock telling people that he was way aware that Will and he spoke before the 2022 Oscars and agreed to stop making fun of Jada. Even Us magazine spoke on the history between Will, Jada and Chris before the Oscars.
There is some deep rooted history between Chris making fun of Jada Pinkett-Smith for years, so when Will got upset and slapped Chris Rock it came from years of the comedian poking fun at his wife, and the fact that Chris agreed that he would stop attacking Jada.
During the 2022 Oscars, Chris Rock went off script and broke his promise to Will and made fun of Jada. As a man, Chris deserved what came to him. It was disrespectful on every level. And what is most disturbing is that Rock made a movie about black women and their hair called “Good Hair.”
Rock’s ex-wife Malaak Rock even said Chris supports women of color, because all women and their hair is beautiful. So if that is the case why make fun of Jada? Apparently Chris has a hard on all the time to poke fun at her no matter what. At the Oscars he went to far and got slapped for it.
As for all these celebs speaking about suing Will if it was them, Jim Carrey, it’s getting a bit tiring. Or all these sports outlets and random celebs weighing it about Will hitting Chris need to #SUSTFD unless they have all the facts…
CelebnMusic247.com reports that Jada Pinkett-Smith has opened up and no one else has this report because this video was posted and deleted quickly. Pinkett-Smith speaks on everyone talking about Will slapping Chris. She makes some valid points and says she is “ready” for what is to come from this.
Jada says:
I got an earful this morning man…You never really know a person until you meet them on the battle field. I got mad respect to anyone who takes a position as an enemy, fights like one, I don’t have a problem with that, that’s like, I’m cool with that.
She goes on to say:
It’s the ones, the allies, the ones standing right next to you, who look to you and nod to you like they got your back and on your side…they nod to you like they ready to charge and you look over and nod back. Then, you two charge together and that joker takes out their sword and cuts your throat.
Jada laughs, pauses and then says:
Those are the tricky ones…You are doing yourself the greater disservice by excusing that behavior…by letting it slide…and by ignoring what that represents. You are doing yourself a disservice and that person.
Pinkett-Smith goes on after a moment, saying:
I see firing on the horizon. It means there is going to be some smoke…but I’m ready!…I’m Ready!
