CelebNMusic247.com reports that Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty has officially registered as a sex offender in California for allegedly failing to register as a sex offender in the State.
We previously reported that Kenny was arrested before the weekend kicked off.
Kenneth Petty, 41, is listed in the California Department of Justice’s database with a new mugshot to boot. His offense is entered as “attempted rape by force or fear.”
Petty was placed in federal custody earlier this month for failing to register as a sex offender in California following his move to the Golden State from New York, according to PageSix.
Under Megan’s Law, every person that has been criminally convicted of a sex crime is required to “register” online and disclose their current address to protect would be victims.
And while Kenneth may have not been registered on the site before, he is now. What’s disturbing to many Nicki fans, is that the address that Kenneth was forced to disclose – is also Nicki Minaj’s Beverly Hills address. But CelebNMusic247 will NOT publish that.
NOTE: This crime occurred more than 20 years ago and the details surrounding the rape charge are now disputed by both Kenneth and Nicki.
