NBC Chicago reports:
Someone injured themselves while trying to jump a fence into the Lollapalooza music festival in downtown Chicago.
The person attempted to sneak into the festival Thursday afternoon when they injured their knee trying to scale a fence, according to a spokesperson for the Chicago Office of Emergency Management.
The person was treated at the festival’s medical tent, the spokesperson said.
We get it, you want to go to the festival, but if you can’t afford to go then don’t. Situations like this is what has a city say no to more festivals.
This is NOT the first time Lollapalooza music festival has had issues with over-zellous music lovers. Back in 2018 the festival saw a spike in alcohol-related issues and even death.
