CelebNMusic247.com has learned that Kevin Jr. showed up in court and there was a change of plans, because neither of his parents showed up.

Now, the prosecutor asked for more time so he’d have more time to review the case since Kevin Hunter Jr. entered a not guilty plea in the case.

If you recall, 18-year-old Kevin Hunter Jr. was arrested in New Jersey on May 21 following a fight with his father, Kevin Hunter.

According to Page Six the brawl began after Kevin Jr. called his father “a bitch” and resulted in Kevin Jr.’s arrest for domestic violence simple assault outside of Krauszer’s Food Stores in West Orange, NJ, according to a heavily redacted police report release.

TMZ reports:

Despite the incident between Kevin Jr. and Kevin Sr. the incident last month may have actually eased tensions between Wendy and Kevin. Howeve we’re told the divorce is going forward for sure.

As for Kevin Jr., the prosecutor said he wanted to “review factors in the case” and said he thought the case would be resolved at the next hearing. As you know, Kevin Sr. has said he did not want to press charges.

Kevin’s mom Wendy Williams will be right behind her son Tuesday in court when he enters a plea in his assault case. Instead she and her estranged husband Kevin Hunter, will present a united front, supporting their 18-year-old son – who allegedly punched his dad in the nose during a heated argument.

Sources say Wendy does not want to create a spectacle in the New Jersey courtroom. She will say nothing in court … she’s only there to support her son, as is Kevin.

Bottom line, Wendy is saying she and Kevin Hunter Sr. will “work through this” and will maintain a relationship grounded in friendship. As for her relationship with Kevin Hunter, Wendy told a friend, “There’s still love between us, regardless of the divorce.”
