CelebNMusic247.com has learned via The Blast that Glassnote Entertainment Group owes Donald Glover his Childish Gambino royalties.

Donald Glover has fired back at the label and claimed that they’re taking a much bigger cut out of his royalties than they should be.

The Blast reports:

Donald Glover is trying to shut down Glassnote Entertainment Group’s claim that they’re entitled to 50% of Childish Gambino’s royalties.

In new court docs, Glover says:

He “intends to assert counterclaims” in order to get $700K in streaming royalties that he claims he’s owed. Additionally, he said that an audit of the label “determined that, for specified periods, Glassnote withheld or underreported royalties and other payments that should have been paid” to Glover.”

Glover also claims:

Glassnote’s multiple breaches under the License Agreement concern, among other things, the taking of excess distribution fees, underreporting of international revenues, deduction of excess producer royalties, underreporting of merchandise sales, and undocumented manufacturing expense charges.
