Actress Ashley Judd has filed a lawsuit claiming that former movie mogul Harvey Weinstein tried to destroy her career because she refused to have sex with him.

CelebNMusic247.com has learned that Ashley Judd revealed in an interview with ABC News on Monday that Weinstein blocker her from getting work.

Ashley Judd says detailed what happened after she rebuffed him to ABC New:

I lost career opportunity. I lost money. I lost status and prestige and power in my career as a direct result of having been sexually harassed and rebuffing the sexual harassment.

She adds:

My career opportunities, after having been defamed by Harvey Weinstein, were significantly diminished. My career was damaged because I rebuffed Mr. Weinstein’s sexual advances. I know it for a fact.

The lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court. The suit also involves Peter Jackson’s “Lord of the Rings” films, according to The New York Times.

Jackson publicly admitted that Weinstein stopped him from hiring female actors, including Judd. He also said he was clueless to why Weinstein opposed hiring her.

Judd revealed that she will donate any money gained from the lawsuit to the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund.

Of course, Weinstein denied any allegations of non-consensual sex.
