Bad Bunny Hosts GTA VI Latin Station Cocoteo FM

Benito’s next stage is a radio dial in Leonida — El Martillo goes live when the biggest game on Earth launches Nov. 19.

Fresh off his seven-win night at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, here is the next place Bad Bunny turns up: inside the most anticipated video game on the planet. Rockstar Games has revealed the first six radio stations for Grand Theft Auto VI, and the game’s modern Latin station, Cocoteo FM, is hosted by Benito himself — voicing an on-air persona named El Martillo — alongside Puerto Rican singer RaiNao as La Gata, per Paste Magazine’s report on Rockstar’s announcement.

The station is a full Latin block for the fictional state of Leonida: bachata, merengue, dembow and reggaeton, broadcast in Spanish. Rockstar’s preview playlist for Cocoteo FM runs three tracks deep — Bad Bunny’s own “EoO,” Axel Rulay’s “Si Es Trucho Es Trucho (Remix)” and Romeo Santos’ “Canalla” — a fair sketch of where Latin music sits right now: the urbano king, the dembow lane and the bachata king sharing one dial position. RaiNao has said the station captures their slang, taste, pride and traditions, and that lending her voice to the game puts her culture and her people in the spotlight.

He is not the only superstar on the dial. The first six stations pair Robyn with model Alex Consani on a revived Flash FM, Morgan Wallen with Lana Del Rey on country, Burna Boy with Palms Trax on African music, Slayer’s Kerry King and Tom Araya on metal, and Trick Daddy with Trina on Southern rap classics. Rockstar is also letting players listen on foot for the first time in the series, through the protagonists’ phones — which means El Martillo’s show travels with Jason and Lucia everywhere, not just in the car.

The timing is its own headline. GTA VI launches Nov. 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and GTA’s radio stations are not background noise — they are career-making cultural real estate, the place millions of players will hear Latin music curated by the biggest Latin artist alive, in character, in Spanish. In a year when Bad Bunny won the Grammy for Album of the Year, headlined the Super Bowl halftime show and just swept his seven Billboard Latin categories, a voice role in GTA VI is less a side quest than another coronation: the culture now comes pre-loaded.

The 247 Take — Every era of GTA radio has one voice players remember a decade later. Rockstar did not hire a soundalike or license a playlist — it handed Latin music’s biggest star a microphone and a call sign. When Leonida opens on Nov. 19, Cocoteo FM is the station the world will leave on.
