Shane Black Has “Genius” Way To Reboot Predator!!!
It looks like Predator is making its way back to the big screen but this time around Shane Black Has “Genius” Way To Reboot Predator franchise.
CelebNMusic247.com hasn’t seen Predator since the reboot of Predators in 2010 which starred Adrien Brody, who was a mercenary among a group of cold blooded killers brought together on a mysterious planet and who have become the prey for sport to the Predators. The film was a good sequel, but now it appears that Shane Black Has “Genius” Way To Reboot Predator.
The film is RUMORED to have Emma Stone and Tyrone Magnus. According to producer John Davis, the new “Predator” movie will totally “reinvent the franchise”.
John Davis recently spoke to Collider, revealing that Shane Black’s treatment “genius” and recreates the franchise in a “a different, interesting way.”
The film, which Black (“Kiss Kiss Bang Bang”, “Iron Man 3?) will co-write with Fred Dekker (“The Monster Squad”) and also direct, is said to be somewhat of a sequel to the original 1987 film from John McTiernan, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Davis adds:
“Shane shot a movie and he’s doing a pilot now, but I’ve read a lot of his script and I think it’s genius. I think it’s genius and I think it’s entertaining, and what it did is recreate a famous franchise in a different, interesting way; looking at it from a different light. He’s just an amazing writer-director. He’s got a way of looking at this that makes you excited again. I love this franchise. It was the first movie I ever did. I remember in being in the jungle with Arnold [Schwarzenegger] as a 28-year-old and going, ‘This is a fun business!’…Shane’s amazing. He’s an amazing storyteller.”

Whatever they’ve cooked up, sounds intriguing…
“Shane’s got a writing partner, Fred Dekker. They’ve been doing it together and Fred’s great. The two of them together, they’ve been in the business for a long time, but the writing is so fresh, the perspective is so fresh. I’m telling you you’re going to get something you don’t expect and you’re going to say, ‘This is the most entertaining way to reinvent a franchise.’ I mean he’s the guy who wrote Iron Man 3.”
As for, Black, he has strong ties to the “Predator” franchise : He not only co-starred in the film but he rewrote much of the script on set.
