Chris Pine Joining Cast of Wonder Woman?!?

Could this be happening? Word has it, that Star Trek’s Chris Pine Joins Cast of Wonder Woman, playing Steve Trevor in the movie.

Pine has NOT joined the cast yet, since he is still in negotiations to take on the role of Steve Trevor opposite Wonder Woman (Furious 6 star Gal Gadot) in the 2017 movie from DC’s expanded film universe

CelebNMusic247.com just got word via Variety that Star Trek’s Chris Pine could soon be taking on another iconic role by joining the DC Comics adaptation Wonder Woman.

Steve Trevor is a dashing intelligence agent who has long been a love interest for the Amazonian warrior Diana Prince in DC’s range of comics.

Pine – who plays Captain James Tiberius Kirk in the Star Trek films – apparently emerged as the favorite to play Trevor after impressing Warner Bros and his potential co-star Gadot in a recent meeting.

Wonder Woman will be introduced on the big screen in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, before returning for Justice League and solo movies.

Entourage and The Killing director Patty Jenkins recently became attached to Wonder Woman, following the departure of the originally-signed Michelle MacLaren.

Back in 2014, Director Zack Snyders gave Comic Con fans their first look at Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Gadot will appear in the upcoming “Batman vs Superman: Rise of The Justice League” film followed by her solo superhero film Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman is expected to open in 2017.
