50 Cent Thanks Eminem
50 Cent may have left Interscope, Dr Dre and Eminem behind to start a new, but the G-Unit leader never forgets who gave him his first shot in the hip hop game!
50 Cent, a longtime friend and collaborator of Eminem, praised his former Shady Records boss on social media earlier today.
Fiddy posted a photo of he and his friend Em with the following caption:
“I traveled a lot of places.Met a lot of people but EM is my favorite. He gave me my shot man. That’s all I needed I ran with it#smsaudio.”
Despite his depature from Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records 50’s allegences runs deep and he admits his ties with Eminem and Dr. Dre allowed for the transition to be possible.
“I’m a special case and situation.”
“It’s also because of the leverage of having the strong relationships with Eminem and Dr. Dre. They don’t want to me to be uncomfortable. They value our friendship to the point that they would never want [to jeopardize] it over that little bit of money.”
