One thing we can say about 50 Cent is when he puts his mind to doing something, he executes and does it. From music, books, TV series and film Fiddy proves he’s a powerhouse that can’t be stopped.
People may have jumped on the bandwagon to body shame 50 Cent after his much-talked-about performance at the Super Bowl halftime show, but he turned that into sales with one of his iconic looks. Well, he’s doing it again with another major step in entertainment bringing one of DC’s lesser-known superheroes to the big screen…

CelebnMovies247.com and CelebnMusic247.com report that Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson is developing a live-action film based on DC’s Xerø comic book series.
According to Deadline, writer Christopher Priest and artist ChrisCross launched Xerø in May 1997.
The book took place 25 years in the future and introduced readers to Coltrane “Trane” Walker, a Black professional basketball player who also moonlighted as a technologically-enhanced “closer,” a government agent tasked with tying up loose ends in espionage missions. Walker could also use invisibility to disguise himself as a white man, which helped him infiltrate his targets’ whereabouts.
Xerø’s run in the DC Universe was short-lived—the series released its 12th and final issue in June 1998. Regardless, Jackson and his fellow producers intend to turn the property into a franchise.
Fiddy captioned the photo writing:
This is a Big One, Christopher Priest is the writer who brought you black Panther and broke the color barrier at Marvel. DC’s BatMan, SuperMan, AquaMan, WonderWoman, TheJoker, and now ( Xero ) GLG? GreenLightGang ?Bulls Eye I don’t miss.
50 Cent said:
There’s no one better than Christopher Priest to bring G-Unit Film & Television into the world of comic book superheroes. Watch as we build Xerø into a franchise alongside Christopher and Color Farm Media. I can’t wait for the world to meet Trane Walker in an all new way.
Jackson is producing Xerø through his G-Unit Film & Television banner. Color Farm’s Erika Alexander and Ben Arnon are also producing alongside Illuminious CEO Joseph Illidge.
Priest added:
Xerø depicts a slow-moving car wreck at the intersection of race and class. The commonality of struggle represented by the life experiences of Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson, G-Unit Film & Television and Color Farm assure a broad depth of first-hand appreciation for that delicate balance. It’s exciting to be working together to create this new world.
