CelebnMusic247.com and CelebnSports247.com report that Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s Sire Spirits signed a multi-year partnership with the Houston Rockets.
The news which was first reported by Forbes had this update, the NBA announced the partnership with 50 Cent and The Rockets, marking Jackson’s first major sports partnership.
Jackson’s wine and spirits brands, Branson Cognac and Le Chemin du Roi Champagne, will be featured throughout the Toyota Center via Sire Spirits-themed bars, a court-side section, a private suite (which will belong to Jackson), and a restaurant.
Per the NBA release, the Red & White Wine Bistro at the Toyota Center will become the Sire Spirits Bar & Restaurant.
Meanwhile, Jackson’s philanthropic arm, the G-Unity Foundation, will work with the Houston Rockets on community programs.
While the NBA-Houston Rockets partnership is a first for Jackson, he’s no stranger to the beverage business. In the early 2000s, Jackson was the face of Glacéau, the parent company of Vitaminwater.
