Vin Diesel’s Kojak Movie Gets New Writer!!!

Lollipop’s ahead, because Vin Diesel’s Kojak Movie Gets New Writer after Neal Purvis and Robert Wade are out and playwright Philip Gawthorne is onboard for Kojak.

In the upcoming film, Vin Diesel will play the title character Lt. Theo Kojak which the role was made famous by Telly Savalas in the 70s. Kojak, one of CelebNMusic247.com’s favorite TV shows growing up was about a tough but upbeat cop with a penchant for lollipops entertained television audiences for five seasons.

Gawthorne recently made news for signing on to Lionsgate’s Cube remake. Diesel remains as busy as ever.  Recently Vin asked fans if he should sign onboard for a sequel to Universal’s The Last Witch Hunter before the films release.

He is also returning to his role as Xander in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, the next installment to the Fast & Furious franchise in Furious 8.

He’s also teaming up alongside Chris Tucker in Ang Lee’s Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk ( which he is currently filming) and another installment of Guardians of the Galaxy as the voice of Groot.
