Vic Mensa Won’t Face Felony Charge!

Roc Nation rapper Vic Mensa won’t be facing a felony charge following his January arrest for possession of brass knuckles. Continue on to get more insight on Vic Mensa…

CelebNMusic247.com reports that the LA County District Attorney’s Office has decided to slap the Vic Mensa with misdemeanor possession instead.

If you recall, earlier this year Vic Mensa was driving a motorcycle in Glendale, CA, when police saw him make an unsafe turn.

When LAPD pulled Mensa over, they searched him and found the brass knuckles in his pocket.

You would think no big deal right?

Wrong, the “fist-load weapon” is illegal in the state of California.

Mensa was instantly booked for felony possession of brass knuckles, and he was later released after posting $20,000 bond.

We haven’t heard much music coming from Vic over the past year. However, he did weigh in on other rappers. Mensa made headlines in December after he blamed rappers who glorify drug use for the death of fellow rapper, Juice Wrld.

Vic said at the time of Juice Wrld’s untimely death:

I think that, as members of the Hip Hop community, we need to take responsibility for the things that we say. We need to recognize that the sh*t we talk about influences children. So when we are steady pushing a message of lean and Percocets and Xans, we are polluting the minds of the youth. We have a responsibility to give it to them in a real way.
