Usher’s Singer Crowned Winner of The Voice

Usher‘s Singer Crowned Winner of The Voice

Season 6 of The Voice wrapped last night and Adam Levine, Shakira, Usher and Blake crowned themselves a new winner. was all eye The Voice last night as the winner of its sixth season was Josh Kaufman.

We were so happy to see him take the title of season 6. If it was Josh our money was on Jake Worthington who is going to be a stellar country singer.  We were a little taken back when Christina Grimmie landed in the top 3. She was not worthy on any level and proved to us how she needs other talented vocalists sing for her when she performed Lorde’s hit single “Team” which past friends of the show help to sing the whole song while she chimed in on the hook.

As for Josh, the Indianapolis-based singer was originally let go by coach Adam Levine before Usher made the choice to steal earlier in the season.

Celebrating his first victory on the show, Usher said:

“This is a show about dreams, about the journey of being an artist, and he represents all of that.”

“From the time of the blind auditions to being stolen, he’s been on an amazing journey.”

Kaufman’s fate seemed uncertain after Monday’s final live performance show, as a glitch on iTunes showed the singer’s recording of Adele’sSet Fire to the Rain‘ listed as an album instead of a song.

However, he survived and landed victor.
