Remember when Trey Songz real name Tremaine Neverson, was arrested last year? Well read on…
If you recall, a sound engineers reportedly threatened to cut off Songz microphone when he ran past the 11.30pm curfew, so Trey Songz went ballistic!
He told the crowd he would “go crazy” if he was cut off. And so he kept his word and did so. Trey made things worse when he encouraged the audience to join him in taunting concert bosses by chanting, “Go ahead and cut me off!”
Trey was caught on multiple cellphone cameras jumping off the stage into the crowd as security staff tried to stop him. Then he appeared to throw items at police officials. Trey was seen hurling microphones and speakers off the stage in the video footage, and one object striking a cop on the head.
He was taken into custody for malicious destruction of property and resisting arrest. Trey also landed subsequently charged with aggravated assault and assaulting a police officer causing injury. He spent the night behind bars and was arraigned in December, when his bail was set at $25,000.
On Thursday, Trey Songz appeared via video for a hearing in Wayne County Circuit Court. The judge set a September trial date and a court conference for 31 May (17).
Trey is now facing jail time and significant fines if convicted. His lawyers say there is a “50/50 chance” a plea agreement can be reached, according to The Detroit News.
Do you think Trey Songz facing jail time will come true or will he cop a deal? Trey is too cute to be in jail! He’ll make some man happy and he won’t be able to escape the rumors then.
Good luck Trey. And dude what is up with that reality series? It is no She Got Game!
