Treasure Island Music Festival Returns

(CelebNMusic247-NewsTreasure Island Music Festival Returns

Last year the Treasure Island Music Festival 2012 made a bang celebration in middle of the San Francisco Bay with all sorts of bands from  electronic/dance acts kicking off the festival on Saturday and indie-rock closing it down on Sunday.

And now the festival is coming back for the seventh annual Treasure Island Music Festival which will once again located on the island between the bridge that connects the east to west, The Bay Bridge.

The Festival will be on the 535-acre man-made island that was built back in the early 1900 for the 1939 Worlds Fair is now the yearly home of the music festival that packs a punch.

Last year 2012, the festival had great performances from:

Girl Talk
The Presets
Porter Robinson
Public Enemy
Matthew Dear
Toro y Moi
The Coup
K. Flay
Dirty Ghosts

The XX
Best Coast
Divine Fits
Youth Lagoon
Los Campesinos!
The War On Drugs
Ty Segall
Imperial Teen
The Neighborhood

The festival will once again have parking located at  San Francisco’s AT&T Park accomidated  bright-eyed festival goers on buses with shuttles running constantly to and from the parking lot.

The relatively small space allocated to the festival necessitates a setup where the two stages are set up on opposite sides of a single field.  Acts on each stage trade off sets, with one beginning the moment the previous one finishes. There’s no waiting and no missing anything–it’s an ideal situation!

The line up for Treasure Island Music Festival two-day offering presented by Another Planet Entertainment will once again bring in some of the best acts available in music today.

The confirmed dates are October 19 -20, and the Treasure Island Festival 2013 lineup will be announced on May 28 – tickets  for the festival have NOT BEEN posed yet, but CLICK HERE as they will most likely be going on sale in June.
