No we are NOT going to give you what everyone it talking about CelebNMusic247.com is gonna give you our Top 10 Alternative songs of Summer.

We love music, so we have some of our favorite songs that we’ve been playing all summer.

10 – The Neighbourhood – “R.I.P. 2 My Youth”

The Newbury, California band composed of vocalist Jesse Rutherford, guitarists Jeremy Freedman and Zach Abels, bassist Mikey Margott and drummer Brandon Fried,

The Neighbourhood EXPLODED on to the scene in 2013 with their debut album, I Love You. Wiped Out is the bands sophomore album with the first single, “R.I.P. 2 My Youth”.

9 – Halsey – “Ghost”:

Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, known by her stage name Halsey is a singer/songwriter and recording artist.

The Washington, NJ native is repped by Astralwerks. Halsey came on to the music scene in 2012 and has continued to make great music. “Ghost” is from her upcoming album, Badlands which drops on August 28, 2015.

8 – New Order – “Restless”

One of our all time favorite bands, is the English rock band New Order, who formed in 1980, is back in full effect with an new album on the way. They did a stellar show last year in San Francisco and at Coachella and expect to catch New Order when they hit the road for the Music Complete Tour.

Currently New Order consists of Bernard Sumner “vocals”, Stephen Morris, Gillian Gilbert, Phil Cunningham and Tom Chapman. The band is currently on their European Tour 2015, which is listed in FULL here…

7 – New Politics – “West End Kids”

Like twenty one pilots, New Politics are one of those bands you don’t want to miss live, they are tons of fun live. And the new EP proves the New Politics is here to stay.

The Danish rock band from Copenhagen (David Boyd “vocals”, Søren Hansen, and Louis Vecchio) hit the music scene in 2010 with their self-titled album, New Politics. They’re finally back with their second album Vikings.  Download the song “West End Kids” on iTunes or listen on Spotify :

6 – HEALTH – “STONEFIST”

The Los Angeles band, Health (John Famiglietti, Jupiter Keyes, Benjamin Jared Miller, Jake Duzsik, Logan Burgett) is known for their unique sound called Noise Rock.

Health first came on the scene with their Get Color album and their remix of their song “Crimewave” by experimental electronic band Crystal Castles in August 2007. Almost 6 years later the followed their success with the 2012 shooter Max Payne 3 video game, the electro-punk band essentially lost a sizable chunk of their artistic prime.

5 – Cee Lo Green – “Robin Williams”:

One of our favorite people is Cee Lo Green and in his newest song, he tributes all the fallen comedians in the song entitled “Robin Williams”.

4 – Atlas Genius – “Molecules”:

The Adelaide, South Australia quartet, Atlas Genius, is another MUST SEE band live, composed of Keith Jeffery “vocals”, Michael Jeffery, Darren Sell, Steven Jeffery.

“Molecules” by Atlas Genius is available on their sophomore album ‘Inanimate Objects” due out August 28, 2015. Pre-Order it now…

3- Silversun Pickups – “Nightlight”

The Silverlake, CA-based band Brian Aubert, Nikki Monninger, Christopher Guanlao and Joe Lester, better known as Silversun Pickups are back with first new album in more than three years, BETTER NATURE.

2 – The Moth & The Flame – “Young & Unafraid”

Los Angeles natives, The Moth & The Flame is currently repped by Elektra Records and the quartet is includes Brandon Robbins, Mark Garbett, Andrew Tolman and Michael Goldman.

They came on to the scene in 2011 with their debut album that can be played on SoundCloud.

1 – twenty one pilots – “Ride” [double video hit]

One of the best bands to see live for their high energy performance is twenty one pilots.

They did an amazing performance at Live 105 BFD 2015 rounding out the day.

They made our list 3 times this year, but overall, “Ride” is one of our favorite singles off the album Blurryface – available now on Fueled By Ramen.

twenty one pilots – “Lane Boy”

It’s been a minute since a band hits the scene and takes the airwaves by storm, but the Columbus, Ohio duo, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun have made a mark this year with their album Blurryface.

The guys are currently on the Blurryface World Tour this fall.

Make sure you see them live. If you are on the West Coast here is when they will be hitting California and Arizona.
