During the pre-show to the 2013 MTV VMA awards live from the Barclay Center in Brooklyn rock group Thirty Seconds to Mars were handed an envelope to reveal who would take home a 2013 moon man.

As Jared Leto unveiled the results he hollared  out with joy that he and his bandmates won the MTV VMA award for Best Rock Video for “Up In The Air.”

The video directed by long-time collaborator Bartholomew Cubbins will compete for Best Rock Video, Best Art Direction and Best Cinematography at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.
