(CelebNMusic247-News) The New Atlanta Joins Bravo’s Southern Style Reality Drama

There’s a new reality show gearing up with high drama, thanks to Mona Scott-Young and her team of reality TV makers.

We’re NOT sure if you caught a episode of the newest reality series on Bravo, but let us be the first to tell you The New Atlanta is showing promise to be as juicy as Love and Hip Hop Atlanta.

We will say beefing and Drinks Flying are already on The New Atlanta promising high drama, thanks to Mona Scott-Young and her team of reality TV makers!

Here’s the drop on The New Atlanta:

When you watch The New Atlanta, you might think of Most Eligible Dallas, but this new reality series is another addition to the growing subgroup that is the network’s Atlanta-centric programming, inclusive of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and the newer “Married to Medicine,” which had its first outing this year.

A tagline from the beginning of tonight’s premiere episode:

“In a city where ambition is king, we’re not here to settle. We’re here to succeed.”

OK. That also forms the core of the rift that starts the show — businesswoman vs. willing trophy wife. So there’s plenty of wealth to satisfy the voyeur component, but also youth.

So what’s next? First Impressions of course!

The young, beautiful, up-and-coming-y cast, with three women and two men, includes Africa, Emily, Vawn, Tribble (yes, really) and Alex.

Emily starts things off with her sound bite:

“I’m a southern Jewish redneck…Yeah, that’s me.”

Umm, what a great start? Emily aka the Trophy wife,  also owns Raw Denim, a boutique that we immediately find out has been burglarized in a large way after thieves drove a truck through the store window.

Then there’s her friend Africa, a singer, actress and model from Montgomery, Ala. who was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness.

Africa says:

“My heart, my soul, has always been my singing.”

Africa, in turn, is working on her album with Vawn, who has also worked with R&B stars like the Dream and Jagged Edge. Vawn has a young son, Jevon, who likes to taunt him about his cooking and lack of a girlfriend. But is Vawn trying to mix business with pleasure? We guess we will have to watch, but by the looks of episode two, things are already heating up and drama is starting, so we’ll keep you posted.

It seems like this show is going to be a hot mess and our newest addiction.

Here’s a look at the upcoming episode that airs on Tuesday on Bravo at 10pm/9 central as Drinks start to fly as Alexandra and Emily get in a heated argument that turns ugly.
