Get the 411 on the JJ Abrams Star Wars VII movie because it’s AWESOME…

So we drove to the theater 2 hours early tonight in anticipation to see the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens directed by JJ Abrams.
It was way worth it!
It was awesome because the movie was playing in 6 rooms of the 12-plex we attended. It reminded us of back in the day when we were 12-years old standing in line outside in the cold thirsting to see Star Wars.
Well the magic is back and the force was in full effect. We saw all sorts of diehard fans new and old, wearing costumes, T-shirts, and bringing along their light sabers.
We felt like little kids again, waiting for the movie to start a then the moment came, the auditorium got silent and boom Star Wars Episode VII flash on the screen. It took us back, and we loved every second of it.
The film starts off with action, choice, fear and desperation. Abrams captures every moment as Fin (John Boyega) gives a stellar performance. He’s the new Han Solo of the new franchise. Boyega is captivating onscreen. Meanwhile Rey (Daisy Riley) is desperate, a loner, and scab on another desert planet. Once Rey and Fin meet up the onscreen chemistry is outstanding. The comedy is placed and executed perfectly and Boyega and Riley draw you in like Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher did in the original Star Wars.
When it comes to Star Wars; The Force Awakens, we cannot deny that Abrams rekindled the magic George Lucas had when he filmed “A New Hope,” Empire Strikes Back,” and “Return of the Jedi.”
We also understand why Lucas passed the torch to Disney to helm the franchise and spin-off films. The Star Wars Prequels failed to have the same impact as parts 4 through 6 and 7 is easily compared to the liking of the original three films.
If George Lucas and Steven Spielberg had a child together it would be JJ Abrams because he gets it. Abrams knows what it takes to be a movie blockbuster director. It takes great vision, great story-telling and a great group of writers, a DOP who is utterly amazing and vision, desire and love of telling a story.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is everything part 1, 2 and 3 are lacking. Those films were missing a hero, or maybe a talented actor who could carry the film. From the jump John Boyega drives the film and when Daisy Riley is introduced the two are magic. They have charisma all of their own. Add in Chewbacca, BB8, Harrison Ford, C3PO, and Carrie Fisher you end up with an incredible 2:19 minute rollercoaster of fun.
We guarantee that we will be heading back to see The Force Awakens a few more times, because it was that good.
We highly recommend heading out this weekend to see Star Wars The Force Awakens. If you’re shopping this is a perfect 2.3 hour break, or if you need to slip away from your girlfriend this is the best way to hide.
The movie is awesome, we are NOT going to tell you anything except this, Star Wars: The Force Awakens One incredible ride.
