The Crow Reboot Loses Their Eric Draven!?!

Some movies are meant to be untouched and it appears The Crow may be that film since The Crow Reboot Loses Their Eric Draven.

The classic cult 1994 film, The Crow which starred the late Brandon Lee who died during the making of the film from a stunt gone wrong has lost another leading man.

CelebNMusic247.com previously reported that Boardwalk Empire star Jack Huston was set to play the  undead vigilante Eric Draven for months, but now he’s pulled out.

Here is the report:

Huston was confirmed for the role earlier this year, but TheWrap reports that scheduling conflicts will prevent him from remaining on board.

Film studio Relativity is now reportedly courting Unbroken star Jack O’Connell and Mad Max: Fury Road’s Nicholas Hoult to step in as Eric Draven.

Others currently being eyed by the studio include Forest Whitaker as Draven’s cop ally Sergeant Albrecht and Andrea Riseborough as the villainous Top Dollar.

Huston’s departure from director Corin Hardy’s The Crow is merely the latest cast shake-up for the long-rumored reboot.

Luke Evans was officially attached to play Eric Draven for several months last year, with Tom Hiddleston and Alexander Skarsgård also having been in talks at various points.

We will see how this plays out and is one of the other men the studio was eying will step in to play Draven. We just hope that whoever plays the role of Eric, can be just as good as the late Brandon Lee. (Learn the truth about his death) The film was his breakout role in 1994.
