The Craft Getting Remake!!!

We just got word that Sony has plans for the 90’s cult classic The Craft Getting Remake, the horror film about a group of teenage girls with supernatural powers.

“The Craft” is one of CelebNMusic247.com’s favorite films that starred Robin Tunney, Fairuza Balk, Skeet Ulrich, and Neve Campbell, who were all A-listers back in 1996.

Now that nostalgia (aka the 90s) is all the rage in 2015, it was only a matter of time before The Craft got a remake.

Here is what’s being reported:

Talented horror director Leigh Janiak is tapped to write and direct the reboot.

Janiak’s first horror film, “Honeymoon,” which debuted at SXSW in 2014 to rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.

Having a female director could be just the thing this remake needs to outdo the original, but everyone knows a film is only as good as its cast.

We hope that Janiak will do the film justice and hopefully take it a step further with more witchcraft and a better fight scene in the end, since the original film seems to be way too short.

We guess it’s time to bring these witches into the 21st century. Maybe Neve Campbell, Robin Tunney, and Fairuza Balk, who rocked the film, will have a guest appearance in the remake.

What do you think?
