Tank Refuses National Anthem For Clippers

After this past weekends breaking reveal the the LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling is a racist, Hollywood is CLAPPING BACK like Tank who wants NOTHING to do with the LA Clippers!

Tank was set to perform the National Anthem for the LA Clippers on Tuesday, but he has announced he will NO LONGER perform.

CelebNMusic247.com has learned via UPI that the 38-year-old R&B singer was scheduled to open the game with the national anthem, but announced Monday that he has chosen not to sing.

His refusal is in protest of team owner Donald Sterling, who is accused of making racist comments in a conversation with mistress V. Stiviano.

 Tank tells TMZ:

“As an African American man, I must take a stand on a matter that is so deeply personal to me.”

“In light of the recent disturbing and offensive allegations, in good conscience, I cannot move forward with my scheduled appearance at Tuesday’s Los Angeles Clippers game.”

The musician says he won’t associate with someone who makes minorities unwelcome, and refuses to collaborate with the NBA until the organization finishes its investigation of Sterling.

We agree with Tank. His choice NOT to perform is 100!
