It’s good vs evil in the upcoming Greek mythology film when the young mortal Bek (Brenton Thwaites) enlists the help of another powerful god, Horus (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), they lead a rebellion to overthrow the merciless king.

Yes it kind of sounds like Clash of the Titans meets Cleopatra after viewing the trailer, but Gods of Egypt looks to have the special effects of 300 from Proyas, the guy behind The Crow, Dark City, and Knowing.

The movie looks to be a visual splendor with some of the most colorful and flamboyant scenes yet. Will Gods be a movie masterpiece or mishap?

These days Greek mythological films tend to either be great or disappointing, but with Butler in the lead role we expect the movie to AWESOME!

Gerard is great at playing bad in movies, let us not forget his role as Dracula in Dracula 2000 – yeah we know you’re probably saying what movie?

It was one of his first, but we knew then that Gerald Butler would be a mega-box office star and now he is. He was awesome in 300, so going back to the days of Egypt, when Gods ruled seems to be fitting for him.
