T.I.’s Georgia Restaurant Scales 925 Bankruptcy Closed CelebNMusic247.com reports that T.I., his business partner Charles Hughes filed for bankruptcy earlier this year.

The rapper, actor, and activist had a 40% interest in the company. According to court docs, Scales 925 only had assets of $5,000 and liabilities as $0. They claimed they might owe the IRS and Georgia Department of Revenue.

Over the course of their endeavor, T.I., his business partners were sued various times over Scales 925, by 12 ex-employees over unpaid wages.

The employees claimed they were screwed out of wages and never paid overtime. They also alleged that their paychecks bounced and their employers were asked to work off the clock without being compensated.

Scale 925 opened in 2015 but closed the following year, following several issues including being sued for eviction.

On October 4, docs were filed by the bankruptcy trustee explaining the bankruptcy is officially closed and all debts are discharged for the business.

The trustee “filed a report of no distribution and that said Trustee has performed all other and further duties as required in the administration of said estate.”
