CelebNMusic247.com was there to bring you highlights from the Sonoma Harvest Music Festival as music lover chilled in the on the lawn amphitheater under the Sonoma Valley sun.

We have to admit it was around 96 degrees but the heat didn’t stop festival-goers from enjoying great musical performances in an intimate surrounding with a wine country backdrop.

The vibe was completely chill as singer-songwriter and indie rocker Maggie Koerner started off the day with a 30-minute set with her soulful Southern rock music.

Maggie Koerner:

As the day went on, North Carolina Americana/folk duo Mandolin Orange enticed fans with their mellow sounds as the crowd began to grow for a day in the sun. It was reminiscent of a “Day on The Green” the was presented by Bill Graham back in the day.

Mandolin Orange:

BottleRock and Latitude 38 really made some incredible improvements wit a bigger stage and plenty of room and the bottom of the lawn amphitheater for VIP guests – trust us the improvement were much needed and it is a way more enjoyable setting compared to the old days at BR Cohen Music Festival.

At 1:45 in the afternoon, Grammy-nominated rock band The Record Company hit the stage and turned it up with an awesome set. Chris Vos, Alex Stiff, and Marc Cazorla literally rocked the house with blues-rock influenced sounds. We loved every minute of their set.

The Record Company:

Iration followed continuing the upbeat sunshine reggae music similar to that of Smash Mouth and Sublime. The Santa Barbara, California reggae group is a lot of fun and they know how to get a crowd grooving and dancing.

Iration:

Wrapping up the day was Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals – it was an amazing performance by Harper, but he is an incredible performer.  Ben who plays multiple instuments had the crowd going wild with his fused style of music that combines blues, folk, soul, reggae, and rock music.

Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals:

If you haven’t had a chance to see Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals CelebNMusic247.com highly recommends checking them out.

Day 2 kicks off another day with singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer Cee-Lo and his Southern hip hop styled followed by the incomparable Lauren Hill who is one of the most incredible artists to see live. She is nothing short of excellence.  The atmosphere is a chill setting and everyone is cool, so just plan of having a great time and dress for hot weather.
