Solange Possibly Facing Jail Time?

Solange Knowles may have found herself in HOT WATER from the MET Gala afterparty with Jay Z, but the DA possibly pressing assault charges against her!

Since the fight, Solange has been making headlines everywhere and now that the footage has leak her worries are NOT OVER!

Yesterday, Solange weighed in, Beyonce addressed the controversy and Jay Z released statements regarding the incident in the elevator saying that they have apologized and made up. Jay made it a point to have everyone to put it in the past and forget about the private life.

Well that would be all good, but NOT only has Rachel Roy sounded off, hinting the fight was about Jay Z’s adultery, but  now a top criminal defense attorneyMichael Carnachia, who tells us that the authorities could most definitely go after Solange for attacking Jay Z, 44, at The Standard Hotel.

In the video you see Solange brutally attacking Hov and unleashing her fists of fury on Bey‘s husband allegedly defending her sisters honor. Beyonce stood to the side during Solange’s attack so it appears that she was completely cool with her sister kicking and scratching at Jay-Z, as the security guard tries to hold her back.

CelebNMusic247.com has learned that the Standard Hotel employee who leaked the elevator footage to TMZ has already been fired, but too late, the damage is done. So what about Solange???

Jay didn’t press any charges against his sister-in-law, so she should get off scott-free, right? You would think!

According to experts at Hollywood Life, even if Jay Z is reluctant to bring charges, Michael tells us that the police could find evidence that implicates Solange if they find it serious enough. Using the TMZ footage may not be enough because it was stolen from the hotel. He also tells us that there may be a bit of a double standard, since Solange is a woman, and she was pummeling a much larger man.

He says:

“If there’s evidence, then the police and the district attorney could bring a charge, even if no one presses charges.”

“It’s similar to a situation when the police come onto a scene and a woman has a cut nose but won’t say that her husband did it.”

Michael adds:

“It’s also a factor that a woman is attacking a much larger man.”

“Which is seen much differently by the D.A. than a large man pummeling a woman. Finally, these cases are usually victim-driven, and they often don’t want to force someone to bring charges.”

Well we hope nothing happens with Sol, but we will keep you post on how this will play out.
