Wu-Tang affiliated Shyheim Franklin takes to YouTube asking fans, friends and family to help pay for his legal defense after being arrested for hit-and-run.
A day before he surrendered to police in connection with a fatal New Year’s day hit-and-run, Wu-Tang affiliated rapper Shyheim Franklin took toYouTube and Facebook, asking for donations for his legal defense.
“Yo, to all of my family, friends and fans, reaching out, being support. You know, I’m in a lot of trouble right now and I need help for my legal defense so I can have a fair shot in court,” Franklin says, in a video titled “freeimrugged2014.”
Franklin has been charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident, a class D felony, following the early-morning New Brighton crash, which killed Felipe Avila, 29, of Tompkinsville, who was on his way to work, according to police sources.
