(CelebNMusic247-News) Seahawks Make History Winning Super Bowl 43 to 8

The Seattle Seahawks WIN their first NFL title, the classic elements shared by numerous champions — a physical defense and strong running game — are vital.

The Seahawks killed it at the Super Bowl XLVIII at the Met Life stadium in New York. Thanks to QB Russell Wilson, Steven HauschkaPercy Harvin, Malcolm Smith, (The MVP of the 2014 Super Bowl), RB Marshawn Lynch, Kam Chancellor, LB Cliff Avril,

In dominating fashion, the Seattle Seahawks scored with offense, defense and special teams in taking down Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos, 43-8, to win Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium.

The victory gave Seattle its first NFL championship.

The Seahawks scored on the first play of the game, and they didn’t need their offense to do it. Manning wasn’t ready for a shotgun snap that sailed past him and rolled into the Denver endzone. It was recovered by Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno, but he was tackled by Seahawks LB Cliff Avril in the endzone for a 2-0 Seattle lead. The score came just 12 seconds into the game, the quickest opening score in Super Bowl history.

Seattle QB Russell Wilson then took his team 51 yards on their first possession, which ended in a 31-yard field goal by Steven Hauschka.

After a Denver three-and-out, the Seahawks drove 58 yards to the Broncos’ 15, but couldn’t cash in on a third-and-goal pass into the endzone, instead settling on a 33-yard Hauschka field goal for an 8-0 lead with 2:16 remaining in the first quarter.

The Seahawks then capitalized on a Peyton Manning interception, driving down to the Broncos’ 1 when RB Marshawn Lynch bulled his way into the endzone for a 15-0 lead three minutes into the second quarter. Manning overthrew his target in Julius Thomas and was picked off by Seattle’s Kam Chancellor at Denver’s 37-yard line.

Things got worse for Manning on his next drive when Seahawks LB Cliff Avril hit Manning’s arm mid-throw, sending a floater into the air that Seattle LB Malcolm Smith grabbed and returned 69 yards for a touchdown and 22-0 Seahawks lead with 3:21 left in the first half. Smith’s interception was the longest in a Super Bowl since the Saints’ Tracy Porter took one 74 yards in Super Bowl XLIV, which also came against Manning, according to NorthJersey.

Malcolm landed the MVP after his amazing nterception that set the pace for the Super Bowl. Seattle took over this year and the Broncos were left in the dust from the start.

It was the Seahawks linebacker Malcolm Smith intercepting the ball and running it back for the 69-yard touchdown. It’s the longest interception return in the Super Bowl since Tracy Porter ran one back 74 yards in Super Bowl XLIV. Against, yep, Peyton Manning.

Manning hasn’t been great, but you’d be hard-pressed to blame that interception solely on him.

The seattle Seahawks took to Twitter to announce the great news.
