Seahawks FB Derrick Coleman Arrested!!!

BREAKING: One of the Seattle Seahawks biggest on-field unsung heroes, Derrick Coleman, is in hot water off the field and now FB Derrick Coleman Arrested.

CelebNMusic247.com has just gotten word via BleacherReport that fullback Derrick Coleman was arrested Thursday morning:

According to the Seattle Times, Coleman was arrested in the Seattle suburb of Bellevue, Washington, and is being investigated for his alleged role in a vehicular assault and hit-and-run incident.

King 5 News confirmed the news and reported Coleman was booked into the King County Jail. He has since been denied bail, per Tim Booth of the Associated Press.

Following the arrest, the Seahawks announced Coleman was “suspended indefinitely pending further information.”

Coleman’s agents Derrick Fox and Mark Bloom issued a statement, per Eric Edholm of Shutdown Corner:

On the evening of October 15, 2015, Seattle Seahawk Fullback Derrick Coleman, Jr. was involved in a two-car collision soon after leaving a team meeting. While the facts of the case are still being determined, it seems Derrick may have fallen asleep while driving home from a Seahawks’ facility.

The health and well-being of all involved is our primary concern, and we are thankful to report that both parties are expected to make a full recovery. We will continue to work closely with the local officials while a full investigation is being conducted.

Police would not say what Coleman said to them regarding his reasoning for leaving the scene, per Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times.
