Sam Champion of Good Morning America has officially announce that he is leaving the #1 morning show to be the face of The Weather Channel.
Word is, Sam Champion officially announced the news (Dec 2) that he would be moving to The Weather Channel to report the weather on America’s number one rated weather channel.

Sam Champion thinks he can help turn another morning TV show into a winner.
Champion, the meteorologist on ABC’s “Good Morning America” since 2006, is jumping to The Weather Channel to anchor a new morning show there starting early next year.
We wish Sam Champion the best and lots of luck on his new endevoer.
Oh, and by the way, Sam will be going up against his GMA’s time slot, so we are wonder how he is going to pull people away from Good Morning America to watch him on The Weather Channel.
The new meteorologist on ABC’s Good Morning America will be Ginger Zee (Ginger “Zee” Renee Zuidgeest), she’s a weather girl out of Chicago, who looks like Olivia Wilde and Vanessa Williams. – and no she is not black or Hispanic, she is a pretty white girl, so we wish Ginger good luck for the come up. Zee started yesterday (Dec 2) on GMA and will be covering the weather Monday – Friday.
