Rosie O’Donnell Breaks From Wife & The View?!?
It’s a double whammy for friends and loved ones this week, apparently since Rosie O’Donnell Breaks From Wife & The View all in one fell swoop.
CelebNMusic247.com has learned via Rosie O’Donnell’s reps that she is making a clean break from her talk show gig and her marriage.
Why do gay people get married again?
It seems that NOT one gay couple has truly lasted and we know a bunch who only lasted just over a year. Funny how the LBGT community fought so hard for marital rights, but can’t stay married. What a damn shame.
Anyways, O’Donnell’s rep confirmed she and Michelle Rounds are splitting after 2 and a half years of marriage. The couple adopted a baby girl together in 2013. Yay, another child growing up with parents who couldn’t stay together. We have to say this to all in the LBGT community, if you’re gonna get married, go for it, but don’t try to add a child in hopes that will keep the marriage together. That works for straight couples because the child is made of both parties in the relationship. Men on Men have to adopt and woman on woman can have their own kids, but with a mans sperm. Bottom line, the child is only one members child, so bringing a child into a marriage too early is NOT smart. At least be married for 5 years before bringing in a child, it’s just not fair to them.
OK, were off the soap box and back on to Rosie. She has also announced next week will be her last on “The View.” Her short lived run started in September, bu it appears that her departure comes amid rampant speculation that Rosie Perez would be the one exiting.
However, the New York Post first reported O’Donnell’s departure.
ABC says it fully supports Rosie’s decision to spend more time with her family, and adds she’ll be coming back to “The ‘View” from time to time.
