Roseanne Barr Disheveled Over Cancellation; Sara Gilbert Stands Behind ABC

Roseanne Barr, the shamed comedian said she “begged [Ben] Sherwood at ABC 2 let me apologize & make amends,” before her sitcom was axed.

Barr, 65, was seen on Thursday in Utah, visibly stressed as she was spotted sitting on a curb in a hat, cuffed jeans and flip-flops talking a phone call while smoking a cigarette. Read on…

Roseanne Barr Disheveled Over Cancellation; Sara Gilbert Stands Behind ABCCelebNMusic247.om got word that on lookers says Roseanne Barr was nearly unrecognizable as she told a paparazzo:

I’m not going to talk to you except to say: Have a nice day. I believe in one law for all people. I love all people. Thank you.

Following her show being AXED, Roseanne Barr cancelled her appearance on the “Joe Rogan Experience” podcast.

One minute Roseanne got a taste of being back on top in Hollywood, but in a second it was all taken away from her after she penned President Obama’s aide Valerie Jarrett to a baby of the “muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes.”

See, social media wasn’t around back when Roseanne Barr was the star of Roseanne in the 90’s, but ABC apparently forgot that she was a foul mouthed racist then and apparently still is. (allegedly)

While, Roseanne goes back to living in Utah, there has been talks of bring back the show with Sara Gilbert who plays Barr’s daughter Darlene on the series. We are NOT sure if that will happen or if a spin off will be created just yet.

Sara Gilbert weighs in on Roseanne being Cancelled:

Though, Sara Gilbert has spoken out about the show’s cancellation for the first time since the news broke last week, saying she supports ABC’s decision.
Gilbert voiced her views on The Talk during its first live episode Monday following a week of pre-taped episodes.

She said:

I would like to say this has been a very difficult week. A lot of people have been hurt by this. I will say I’m proud of the show we made. This show has always been about diversity, love and inclusion. And it’s sad to see it end in this way. I’m sad for the people who lost their jobs in the process. However, I do stand behind the decision ABC made.

Sarah had previously released a statement on twitter which reads:

Roseanne’s recent comments about Valerie Jarrett, and so much more, are abhorrent and do not reflect the beliefs of our cast and crew or anyone associated with our show. I am disappointed in her actions to say the least. This is incredibly sad and difficult for all of us, as we’ve created a show that we believe in, are proud of, and that audiences love — one that is separate and apart from the opinions and words of one cast member.
