(CelebNMusic247-NewsRicky Williams Talks Acceptance and Alleged Weed Rumors!

Former NFL Running Back and Ricky Williams talks about why he smokes weed, talk’s acceptance and why he wants his tombstone to place his NFL career last.

Ricky Williams had a very interesting interview with Jim Rome on Showtime talking about change. Ricky who is now a coach for San Antonio says he’s moved forward with his life, not retired. But Jim Rome had some press questions about Ricky and his alleged depression and weed addiction after testing positive when playing for the Miami Dolphins.

The former New Orleans Saints star Ricky Williams, explains that he NEVER had an addiction to marijuana…he just enjoys it. He says that he first tried smoking weed when he 28 years of age after he broke up with his girlfriend and was depressed about the break up. As for the mental social disorder Williams says he was watch TV and saw a commercial so he related his problems to that and claimed his disorder which was never there.

While watch Ricky Williams talk with Jim Rome the NFL star opened up about playing professional football and revealing that it carried lots of pressure, so when thing became too much he would smoke a joint occasionally.  Of course Rome circled back asking a series of questions asking if he ever smoked weed before a game, he replied “NO,” When asked if he smoke weed before his Green Bay game he said “NO.”

To REITERATE Ricky said, “NO, I never smoked before a game, I mean why would I?”

But what bothers Ricky Williams?

He craves acceptance. The University of Texas college player has accomplished more than most NFL players throughout their careers. To recap Ricky’s career he’s

accomplished the following; Consensus All-American (1997, 1998), Doak Walker Award (1997, 1998), Jim Brown Trophy (1997, Ricky-Williams-jim-rome-cnm247-914-21998), Walter Camp Award (1998), Maxwell Award (1998), Heisman Trophy (1998), AP College Player of the Year (1998), Pro Bowl (2002), All-Pro (2002), NFL Rushing Leader (2002), Pro Bowl MVP (2002), and 10,000 Rushing Yards Club. He started his career with the New Orleans Saints (1999–2001), then was traded to Miami Dolphins (2002–2003, 2005), retired in 2006 and decide to play football during his suspension with Toronto Argonauts (2006) (CFL), then returned to the Miami Dolphins (2007–2010) and ended his NFL career after playing with Baltimore Ravens (2011).

Now Ricky is coaching in San Antonio, he is also a certified Yoga instructor and travels back and forth from San Antonio to Austin to see his son. With ALL that said, Rick Williams still feels that he wants everyone to bow down to him and praise him for all his accomplishment, because he is still fighting for acceptance for the world.

When it comes to his obituary and tombstone, Ricky would like to have his NFL career to read last, because he feels he has many years left and there are many more accomplishments to achieve. He loves to make change and that is what he plans to do, he is just unsure of what he will make a change about, but he’s working on it.

Listening to Williams speak we came to one conclusion that he is lacking love which either steams from his childhood years or something that happened to him in his past that he is unwilling to admit. What we will acknowledge is Ricky Williams is a true talent, a gifted man in the athletic field and has done way more than most NFL players in 11 years and continues to shine even after his football career. He needs to find happiness within himself, because looking for acceptance from people he does NOT know is still going to be an empty offering. He will still continue to crave more, which we feel may be a tad bit of narcissism.
