Randy Quaid and His Wife Arrested!!!

Remember when Independence Day star Randy Quaid and his wife defected to Canada in 2010? well Randy Quaid and His Wife Arrested.

What we are hearing is that Randy Quaid and His Wife Were Arrested while attempting to enter the United States.

CelebNMusic247.com has this report via DigitalSpy:

The Independence Day actor and his wife Evi have lived in Canada since 2010, after missing numerous court appearances in California.

The couples were facing vandalism charges over allegedly causing $5,000 worth of damage.

Quaid does not have citizenship in Canada, and was arrested by authorities earlier this week. He was ordered to leave the country by October 14, according to Sky News.

Back in 2013, the actor was denied permanent Canadian residency status.

The pair are expected to be formally read the charges against them on Monday (October 12).

CNN reports:

Randy Quaid’s efforts to remain in Canada for the long-term didn’t go smoothly, however.

The couple was granted permission to stay in 2011, and Evi Quaid was granted Canadian citizenship because her father was born in Canada. But Randy Quaid’s request for permanent residency was denied in 2013.

He was expected to be deported to the United States on October 14, according to CTV, a CNN partner.

Basically Randy and Evi delayed the inevitable.

Somewhere right now, Randy’s brother Dennis is shaking his head saying, “Why Randy, why?”
