Pastor Darrell Scott + Leo Terrell In Heated Debate Over Smollett’s Attorney

Are we supposed to feel sorry for Jussie Smollett? That is the big question since Smollett’s attorney rejects the media’s request to unseal court docs.

Is Smollett trying to make himself the victim again? Watin until you here the heated debate that Pastor Darrell Scott and Attorney Leo Terrell got into over Jussie Smollett’s attorney rejecting to unseal court docs…

CelebNMusic247.com reports that Jussie Smollett’s attorneys have rejected the various media requests to unseal court documents from the dismissed case, saying his client has a “right to privacy.”

Jussie Smollett‘s lawsuit being dismissed continues to divide many in the black community. Especially, since the Osundairo brothers are now suing Smollett’s attorney for defamation via Fox News.

Pastor Darrell C. Scott (pro-Osundario brothers) and civil rights attorney Leo Terrell (pro-Smollett) get into a heated debate over the quote “Frivolous Lawsuit” regarding the Empire star? ABC 7 Chicago’s Rob Elgas asks “are we supposed to feel sorry for Jussie Smollett?”

The debate comes from Jussie’s brother JoJo Smollett’s open letter asking what if he is telling the truth?

Leo Terrell gets called out by Pastor Darrell Scott who says that he is only defending Smollett because he is black.

Terrell’s is trying to claim that it’s the Osundairo brothers fault and Jussie Smollett is the victim.

Here is what Jussie’s attorney had to say about NOT unsealing the court docs.

Geragos said:

Since the case against Mr. Smollett has been dismissed, the information contained in the discovery will not be admitted at trial or at another proceeding in this matter. Thus, it is not subject to a tradition of access.

Geragos went on to call various media outlets including ABC 7 Chicago “Media Intervenors”:

To the extent the Media Intervenors are seeking access to the court records, they have failed to establish good cause to unseal such records. Since Mr. Smollett has not been convicted of any crimes and is no longer charged with any crimes, he is entitled to the right of privacy just like any other citizen.

Geragos and attorney Tina Glandian are now in a legal battle themselves as the brothers accused in the alleged January hate crime are now using Smollett’s legal team for defamation.
