Rock The Bells kicked off in Los Angeles over the weekend and Ol’Dirty Bastard was on stage with his Wu Tang Clan to rock the mic and spit a verse or two.

It’s been 10 years since hip hop lost Ol’Dirty bastard, but his essence was surely a part of the Wu Tangs set this time around for  a special Rock The Bells. ODB is the second artist to hit a festival circuit like Tupac a couple years ago with Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg at Coachella.

Night 2 of the Festival brought out the second headlining act, The Wu-Tang Clan, who brought out a “hologram” Ol’ Dirty Bastard for a virtual performance of “Shame on a Nigga” and then Young Dirty Bastard to rap alongside his dad for “Shimmy Shimmy Ya” during Rock The Bells 2013 Day 2 at San Manuel Amphitheater in Los Angeles San Bernardino, CA on September 8th, 2013.

Rock the Bells successfully pulled off a second hologram performance on night two of the double-date festival in San Bernardino, CA, but not without technical glitches.

As promised, a digitally imposed Ol’Dirty Bastard joined the Wu-Tang Clan’s headlining set to close the show, but before he touched down to perform alongside his son Young Dirty Bastard, The Wu — sans Raekwon and Ghostface Killah —had already lost their sound.
