Lady Gaga will headline both weekends of Coachella, replacing Beyonce, who postponed her performances after announcing she was pregnant with twins.
Gaga is taking over for Bey on consecutive Saturday nights (April 15 and 22) at Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, Calif. Lady Gaga will add the double Coachella slot to her already busy 2017 tour schedule, announced shortly after her critically acclaimed performance at Super Bowl LI in Houston. Gaga’s Joanne World Tour kicks off Aug. 1 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, B.C.
Festival organizers Goldenvoice and AEG Live are in the final stages to bring Gaga’s huge stage production to Coachella. The announcement will be coming before the week is out, according to Billboard.
Lady Gaga is the perfect high-profile replacement for the BeyHive after last weeks announcement that their Queen would be unable to fulfill her Coachella obligations. Beyonce will no long be at North America’s highest-grossing annual festival per doctor’s orders. Although, Beyoncé will return to headline Coachella in 2018.

The new Coachella headliners are as follows Radiohead, Lady Gaga, and Kendrick Lamar – other performers at Cochella will be XX, Bon Iver, Future, Lorde and Justice. The fesitval dates are April 14-16 and April 21-23.
