Despite the over saturation of Nicki Minaj music and her recent track with French Montana which is great when watching the video and lackluster on the radio waves.
The Young Money superstar is well-established and her clout in the industry is undeniable. So, at this point, she says that she isn’t preoccupied with acceptance or acclaim.
Minaj told MTV in a recent interview that she’s confident in her own talent, regardless of co-signs.
Nicki explians:
“[With her upcoming album Pink Friday: The Pinkprint] I care less about the acceptance and more about me being the lyrical, ill bi**h that I am, knowing that I am lyrically better than most of the male rappers out there.”
“Yes, I’m gonna say it. I don’t get the credit that I deserve.”
