Nicki Minaj Confesses Khaled Proposal Was A Publicity Stunt-730-1

(CelebNMusic247-News) Nicki Minaj Confesses Khaled Proposal Was A Publicity Stunt

Last Thursday (July 25) DJ Khaled decided to make a commercial on MTV proposing to Nicki Minaj!

Well Nicki finally has responded to the publicity stunt conjured up by DJ Khaled only to gain recognition for his new music.

Nicki Minaj admits that the proposal from DJ Khaled was a publicity stunt was meant to draw attention to the exec’s new music.

Minaj said during a radio interview on Hot 97:

“I was shocked just like the rest of the world.”

“I was cracking up laughing with the rest of the world ’cause Khaled is a master at what he does.”

It appears Khaled’s scheme was an elaborate plug for his new track “I Wanna Be With You” off his upcoming album, “Suffering From Success.”

Minaj explained of her Young Money label-mate:

“It was just another way for him to kinda give the world a glimpse on the feeling of this record. Nobody in my real life took it seriously.”

“Everybody just hit me like, ‘LOL. Yo, Khaled is crazy.'”

The “Starships” rapper then added they aren’t even dating: “Khaled is my brother and Khaled was not serious with that damn proposal, ya’ll. Please let it go. He was kidding. He’s not attracted to me, he doesn’t like me. We’re brother and sister.”

Last week, Khaled insisted that his proposal was completely sincere after his MTV video went completely viral.

“I want to marry her! She can take her time and think about it. At least she knows how I feel now,” he told Us Weekly.

The “American Idol” judge also whipped her fans into a tizzy when she was seen with a huge rock on her engagement finger while out with her friends in Beverly Hills over the weekend.

We knew this was ALL a hoax – it made DJ Khaled look too thirsty and Rick Ross was laughing during his interview.

Lets be real – Khaled’s publicity Stunt was whack, no one cared about his new song “I Wanna Be With You” from his upcoming album “Suffering From Success.”

Suggestion next time Khaled get a PR team behind you that knows how to promote music and not some random nonesequential rumor that throws everyone off, even Nicki Minaj, because you looked complete desperate and thirsty!

Hey maybe that should have been the title of the song instead, desperate and thirsty?

Check the new track  “I Wanna Be With You” which we hope one day soon DJ Khaled will stop saying we the best in his songs:
