Naomi Watts Joins Divergent Sequel
The Impossible and Adore actress, Naomi Watts has just inked a deal to be in the next three films in the Divergent franchise.
If you wanna know were Naomi Watts will be over the next couple years, she’ll be working on Divergent sequel Insurgent, Allegiant: Part 1 and Allegiant: Part 2.
CelebNMusic247.com has learned that Watts will be taking on the role of Evelyn in the next three films, which began shooting in Atlanta last week. Evelyn is the leader of the Factionless in the Divergent franchise which was released on March 21 and has grossed more than $267 million worldwide.
The Impossible star also recently agreed to perform alongside Matthew McConaughey in Gus Van Sant’s Sea of Trees.
Robert Schwentke is directing Insurgent from a script by Akiva Goldsman.
The sequel will open in cinemas on March 20, 2015.
