Governors Ball – June 2 – 4 / New York, N.Y.
The annual Governors Ball regularly features a diverse lineup of music’s most popular acts, notoriously short on rock and metal. While the 2017 lineup is no exception, focusing on rap, hip-hop, dance, pop, indie and more, rock / metal will get some bigtime notoriety with Tool booked as one of the headliners for the New York City fest, held between June 2 and 4. Cage the Elephant and Royal Blood will also be performing throughout the weekend.
Bonnaroo – June 8 – 11 / Manchester, Tenn.
Yes, we know Bonnaroo isn’t exactly a rock / metal festival, but in 2017 the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be bringing the rock to the otherwise indie, electronic and pop-centric fest. The band will be promoting 2016’s ‘The Getaway’ and will share the stage with the rockers in Cage the Elephant, Kaleo and Royal Blood over the course of the June 8 – 11 weekend in Manchester, Tenn.
FireFly Music Festival – June 15th – 18th, 2017 / Dover, DE.
FireFly is a unique festival because its out in the woodlands, so you have a full sense of camping. Long days and long nights off the grid enjoying great music from bands like The Weeknd, Muse, Chance The Rapper, Twenty One Pilots, Flume, Weezer, Bob Dylan, The Shins, Thirty Seconds to Mars and more. It’s camping with live music.
Kaaboo – September 15th – 17th / Del Mar, Ca.
Kaaboo is Southern California’s premiere destination by the beach. While you watch beautiful sunsets on the pacific coast line, you move into the night watch great bands. There is so much at Kaaboo its almost overload. You can chill in a tepee and watch bands, sit poolside in a cabana, have chefs wine and dine you, Rock to Tom Petty, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse, and Pink. Or stay late into the morning hours and party like a its a rave to great EDM. If that is not your speed then laugh it up in the am hours to hilarious comedy antics. Kaaboo is a unique experience in its third year and growing every minute.
Austin City Limits – OCT. 6-8 + 13-15, 2017/Austin, Texas
ACL Festival features a diverse lineup of acts every year with 8 stages, more than 110 bands – and now, two weekends. It’s going down at Zilker Park. It is one of the largest music festivals in the US and like Coachella ACL is now two weeks of greatness. The lineup for 2017 has not been revealed yet, but we expect it to be stellar.
Aftershock Music Festival – October 21st + 22nd, 2017 / Sacramento, Ca
Each year, heavy metal and hard rock enthusiasts gather in Sacramento for the nationally renowned AFTERSHOCK Festival. Hosted by Monster Energy, this high energy event has quickly become a favorite within the genre and continues to provide headbanging chaos for fans every year. Past lineups include big names like Slipknot, Beartooth, Deftones, Marilyn Manson, Shinedown and more. See you in California! Voodoo Music Festival – October 28th – 29/ New Orleans, LA
Voodoo is a musical gumbo stirring together music, art, community, cuisine and all the mystery and adventure that Halloween weekend in New Orleans conjures up. With more than 65 bands over three days, Voodoo is more than just a Festival – it is an experience. The lineup for 2017 has not been revealed yet. We have last years lineup so you can taste what Voodoo serves.
